Perspective

A few years ago during worship service the Lord spoke so softly. For as long as I can remember, I've worshiped full body in the back. I don't like feeling confined. But in that monumental service Jesus so tenderly stated if I long to be apart of community -something he encourages- I needed to plop in the middle of the people and stay. Man, that was uncomfortable.

Over time it changed my perspective. How could I feel alone in a swarm of believers singing a joyful melody to my daddy?

The Lord has since released me to wander because He secured my desire and pursuit of community. Today I spent some unexpected free time In a corner top riser of our sanctuary. Talk about a perspective change!!?!!

For the last 8 days God has asked me to focus on Him instead of my sin. So when the temptation to dwell on my shortcomings creeps in I jump in and counter it with praises for my king! What a difference that makes. How effortless it is to believe my adopted inheritance when I'm dwelling on my daddy!!!

Perspective changes everything!
