This day last year God birthed the Hoes family. Keeping the tradition of Hoes having boys. I can't believe its already been a year with my sweethearts. On the flip side how could it be that we've only had them a year. I feel as though they've been in my care from the day God gave them breathe.
I pause today and reflect with such overwhelming joy that my heart swells at the goodness of my gracious God and King. Who not only gives us what we can handle but satisfies our deepest longings-most often in a nontraditional way.
This year has brought such growth in all of us. Kade is talking as much as JD (thats alotta talking) and potty trained, JD is knowledge hungry and still talks a mile a minute. Chad and I are starting to find our way as parents while maintaining "us". Whew, how do people do it with God's guidance!?!
We decided to make it an all day celebration so Saturday we gave the boys bikes for our Adoption birthday, had Rosa's and cake, played in the sprinklers, and had cousin Luke spend the night. JD kept looking out for a "party" once he heard the word "birthday" but seemed satisfied with a gift and a large piece of cake.
what a fun celebration! and what a blessing to reflect and to see how God works once we surrender to His plan. i love your family!
