In hopes to maintain the boys innocence for as long as possible we have strongly encouraged the boys to hold off on the girlfriend thing. They are too young! And we don't feel the need to speed up things or plant ideas that will come soon enough...
As you can imagine, because my boys are freaking adorable, the girls flock to them. It might not help that last year JD took the time to tell every girl in his Sunday school class she looked pretty (he got tired of doing it individually and eventually told them in bulk). The boys watch their daddy hold my door, verbally praise me, and pursue me.
So last night apparently Kade was having a talk with Jesus about how to obey his parents and not hurt the girls feelings that continues to chase after those dimples with her lips puckered. Kade informed me that Jesus said just to run away from her. Kade asked "what if she catches me?" And Jesus told Kade "I will give you super powers to be fast."
Another running story. But this ones not about me!
With those two cuties you are going to have a hard time keeping the girls away.
