3.1 is the distance in a 5k. My first race I ever did was the Ft Worth Turkey Trot 2006. I was scared, it was hard. I had no idea that what seemed like an impossibility at the time would give me the courage to get to this point. I've lost count of the 5k's along the way, with events and training the number of 5ks could easily be in the hundreds.
Ran my last miles today, next run will be the real thing!
