Santa stopped by early

Our kids are normal- they ask for toys at Target when we are there, they nonchalantly (bahaha) ask for things with the grandparents... But in all honesty our kids don't ask for much. So when Kade asked for a dog we started considering it. And how could we say no when he started making up songs about said dog. He wanted it to be yellow like Pal from the Arthur books.

After much praying and some looking I accidental fell in love yesterday. With a girl (gulp) and a puppy (double gulp). We were in the market for an older (read: potty trained) male. And to make it worse, there was a lady onth elist before us for the adoption, which was today. I kept saying "Lord, if you want us to have this pup YOU will make it happen."

And He did!

Meet Baker. We named her before Kade could because it would have been "Pal" or even better like "go go ninja."

Kade totally didn't see Baker when he got home from school. He didn't even ask why Chad was recording him!!! But once he saw her, he knew immediately "thats my puppy"!!!

Isn't it fun to get to make your kids wishes come true!!?!?!?
