As many of you know children can make a grown person uncomfortable with their unintentional lingering eyes. Because of such glances we have introduced privacy. If we are on the potty or getting dressed the boys are to give us a few minutes.
J.D. is really starting to understand this (which is a good thing as his eyes delay more so than Kade's). Last week he stopped himself from coming into the bathroom and asked "mommy you need privacy?" He is also grasping the "privacy" concept by not flinging open closed doors.
Our oldest is not only respecting our need for space but seeking it for himself. On Sunday's Chad always manages the boys (he is great huh!?!) and while making sure J.D. was getting dressed Chad saw that he was behind the door. When Chad asked why, J.D. responded to his daddy "I need privacy!"
