$18.75 and a lesson in capitalism

It's so amazing when we get to experience the Lord answer a teeny tiny request. Just a few days ago Chad began saying he'd like to have the chance to teach the boys about capitalism and thought a garage sale would be a great opportunity we just didn't know of one. Well, this morning after we all sleepily woke up extremely late for this household we saw that our neighbors DIRECTLY across the street were having a YARD SALE!

So with quick feet Chad got the boys all set up! The boys were so thrilled to start making money and as you can imagine because they are so precious and adorable the tips were B-I-G! JD was really the marketing tool- he kept shouting "get your tea, get your berry juice"! (even when no new customers were out!). Precious!

90 minutes later and $18.75 richer (well, actually $18.25 b/c they spent a little at the garage sale) I'm not sure if the lesson has been learned, but I WILL tell you that JD might have sales in his future. We might need to start calling JD "M.C." ---mini Chad!
