Spring Break

We started our spring break with our first camping trip in 2011. Gosh, the weather has been incredible and I was itching to go! Chad and I- kind of half joke and half serious- want to go to every state park in Texas and this weekend we checked off two previously unexplored by the Hoes.


Next we drove east and saw a Civil War reenactment at a ranch near Grandview Texas. It was hilarious, interesting, and something new for us all. *** Please note the 4th picture of the civilian from the 1800's on her cell phone holding cigarettes***





Our last stop on the way back home was Cleburne state park. Where we blew up our air mattress and all cuddled up in the open air by the lake for a nap. Then we got to play some catch and the boys made friends at the park there. Lastly, we went on a hike, showered, and headed home.

To further enjoy spring break the boys are getting some time with Grandad and Chad and I are going to get some alone playtime! Funny how over the years our idea of "partying" changes!
